Does it cost any money to access my belongings when they are stored with you?
There is no charge for accessing your containers at our facility up to twice per month. After the second time in any one month a charge of $15.00 will apply. Give us a call a few hours before you come by, during normal business hours, and we will have your container ready and waiting for you.
I assume that virtually all big household items will fit in the containers. Is that correct?
That is correct. The containers were specifically designed to be large enough to easily hold sofas, refrigerators, washers, dryers, entertainment centers, etc. In fact, you can load up to 2,000 pounds into just one of our containers. We designed the containers to also be compact enough to prevent items from shifting during transport.
How do I know how many containers I will need?
Generally, just give us a quick call at (910) 383-1000 and we will answer that question to the tee. As a rule of thumb, use one container for every 1½ rooms of furniture that you have to store. If you order too many containers from us, don't worry. We will pick up the unused containers at no expense to you.
I need my stored goods shipped to another city. Can Big Box Storage Centers ship them without me having to unload them?
Usually yes. We have a low-cost shipping service that covers most all of the USA. Just give us a call with your destination.
How much does the Big Box Storage Centers service cost?
The price depends on what city you are in, how much you are storing and whether you take advantage of some of our other products or services. Generally, just give us a quick call at (910)383-1000 and we will give you a firm quote. We have a one time fee for delivering and retrieving the containers and then a daily storage fee while you are storing with us. If you wish to use our delivery service when you are done storing, there is a one time fee to redeliver containers to you.
Where will you put the containers when you deliver them to me?
We rarely have difficulty in finding a good place to spot your containers for loading. Generally, you can fit two containers in a standard parking stall. Anywhere a car can go, a container can usually follow. If you have a concern, please call us and we will give you a straight up answer.
